Check-in
Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival at the earliest.
​
If you arrive earlier, you can of course park your car and place your luggage in front of the door, and take a first walk through the village.

Check-out
Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Naturally, you can leave your car and luggage with us for a while longer (until 2:00 PM at the latest on the day of departure).
Please take care of your apartment key; a lost key replacement costs CHF 350.00.

Services
You are renting a house without service and without catering. We can offer intermediate cleaning and towel changes for an additional fee. Breakfast delivery service is also available for a fee.

Final Cleaning
The final cleaning service is not included in the rental price. The house must be left in a tidy condition according to western standards.
Cleaning costs are CHF 300.00 per stay. Additional cleaning will be charged to the guest at CHF 60 per hour.

Consumables and Food
The rental price includes bed, bath, and kitchen linens. Slippers, toilet paper, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and cleaning supplies are also included. Coffee capsules for two drinks per person are provided. Basic spices are available in the house.

Smoking and Open Fire
You are welcome to smoke in the garden or on the veranda. It is a wooden chalet, so smoking or open fire inside the house is strictly prohibited, even near open windows.

Violations will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund, and an additional fee of CHF 1,000.00 for cleaning and deodorizing will be charged on-site. The guest is responsible for all additional costs.

Ecology and Energy
We strive to operate with the utmost respect for the environment and expect our guests to support us through ecological behavior: no overheating, no open windows while the heating is on, and no excessive use of hot water.

Damages
The guest is fully responsible for any damage to the building, furniture, and inventory, especially for water damage from flooded bathrooms. All cleaning, repair, and replacement costs will be charged to the tenant immediately.

Payment of the Booking
100% of the rental price is due via bank transfer within two days. You will receive the invoice and bank details via email after making the reservation. If the payment is not made within two days, the booking is void.

Cancellation and Refund
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. Guests who book less than 30 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before the check-in date. After that, a 50% refund will be given up to 7 days before check-in. No refunds will be issued thereafter.

Tourist Tax
Our guests must pay the tourist tax in cash upon arrival. The amount will be collected directly by our welcome fairy Marianne.
Each guest receives a guest card that provides access to many discounts in the region, such as free public transport to Interlaken, discounted admission to the indoor pool, 50% off e-bikes, and much more.

Adults: CHF 4.20 per person/night
Children 6-16 years: CHF 1.60 per person/night

Legal
You enter into a short-term rental agreement under Swiss law with the registered company Chalet AlpinLux GmbH. The place of jurisdiction for all matters relating to the house rental is the Regional Court of Bern, Switzerland. By using our website, you agree to our privacy policy, which you can find here.
